Bedgebury Forest is a 2000-acre forest in Kent with riding for various abilities. It has a 15km red-graded singletrack trail, a free ride area with north shore and dirt jumps, and blue-graded family loops. Our Bedgebury days are a great social event for those who love mountain biking at every level.
A selection of hearty, basic lunches are available for you to buy at the cafe on site such as soups and meaty baguettes. The centre’s facilities allow you to travel home clean and dry thanks to the showers and bike wash.
The 15km red-graded ‘Singletrack trail’ is a pure XC trail that twists and turns through the woods. Although there are no major climbs or descents, there are enough changes in gradient to keep you interested, with a couple of short, steep climbs and exciting descents. The singletrack at Bedgebury has been continuously improved and upgraded recently, leaving it even more flowing, with many addictive sections.
Freeride and Family trail
Bedgebury also boasts freeride and skills areas, as well as family trails with two length options. The freeride area contains some well-spaced jumps and some north shore*. It’s relatively tricky in places with some seesaw action and big wooden berms. The skills area has a couple of narrow balance planks, some logs to hop and stumps to weave. The family trail is on wide tracks, making it easy and relaxing
Our Mercedes Viano will leave Caterham at 9:00, allowing for a rip around the single track or a warm up on the blue before lunch. After another session on the bikes, we will leave Bedgebury at 16:00, arriving back in Caterham for 17:00.
The Price for the day is £30 per person.
